When I went to http://www.vectormfg.com ,I was rerouted to Black & Decker site. Guess they like buying 'problems'. A search of their site yeilded nothing. I also read several places on the web that there was a recall on this model mainly due to the docking station not charging the OEM batterys which by the way are also a problem apparently(Some user are reported to replace them with a set of 4 AAA rechargables. You'll need to solder some jumper wires on a few terminals as there are no contacts in the radio for them. I take no responsibility if you attempt this and make a boo-boo). Another thing I read was there may be some units with S.A.M.E. codes that don't work properly. (Not sure if this couldn't be a programming issue as my Vecto VEC438 works well. I do have a few other type units that refuse to go off no matter what setting and how big of an antenna you put on 'em) that's a different story though........ All in all I think it's a pretty good little radio if the price is right. Oh yeah, one other note is that mine seems to reset the Alarm function to ON everytime I push the main power button and turn it off. Is this normal? hmmmmmmmm Hope this helps greenphantom61@yahoo.com I'd like to give credit to this link as well for starting me on my journey, thanks fixya : http://www.fixya.com/support/t156105-power_stay "Wall Wart" Power Supply = 9VDC 500mhA with a type "H" plug at the radio end +Positive is Center (available at the local radio"rat" shack, next to the food isle?)
